From job seeker to full-time security guard
The challenge:
After being out of work for several months, Sam* was referred to Pop! Training by Work and Income. He was nervous about studying again and wasn’t sure he’d be able to keep up.

Sam completed his COA Mandatory Training, applied for his Certificate of Approval, and started working under a Temporary COA within weeks. Today, he’s employed full-time as a security guard and has plans to apply for roles in Corrections.

Stepping up to Duty Manager
